At Ngorongoro Crater, you will spot the endangered black rhinos, large prides of lions, hyenas, wildebeests, buffalos, hippos and water birds along Lake Makat – a soda lake found inside the crater. The drive from Arusha is slightly long but you will enjoy a half day of rich wildlife viewing; within a few hours of entering the crater, you will see the big five.
