Bird Watching

We offer guided bird watching tours in Tanzania. Tanzania is home to the largest concentration of birds in Africa; over 1100 bird species call Tanzania home. Bird watching is best done during the warm season when migratory and local birds can be spotted together in the same place.

If you want to add extensive bird watching to your safari, we will arrange to have a guide with ornithological skills accompany you. Popular bird watching destinations include Arusha National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Mikumi National Park, Ruaha National Park, Selous Game Reserve, the Eastern Arc Mountains and Rubondo Island.
